COOKIE POLICY
Last updated July 31, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Artem Yeromenko ("Company," "we," "us," and "our") uses cookies and similar technologies — in our case, storage in your own browser — to recognise you when you visit our website at https://www.lexiconcards.com ("Website"). It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.
In some cases we may use cookies to collect personal information, or that becomes personal information if we combine it with other information.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.
Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, Artem Yeromenko ) are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called "third-party cookies." Third-party cookies enable third-party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website (e.g., advertising, interactive content, and analytics). The parties that set these third-party cookies can recognize your computer both when it visits the website in question and also when it visits certain other websites.
Why do we use cookies?
Lexicon does not set any cookies of its own. Everything we store is placed directly in your browser using localStorage and sessionStorage, and all of it is strictly necessary for the Website to work: keeping you signed in, holding your flashcards and study progress, and remembering your settings. We do not use this storage to track you, to profile you, or to target your interests, and we do not allow third parties to place tracking technologies on our Website for advertising or analytics. Everything we store is listed in the table below.
How can I control cookies?
Because everything Lexicon stores on your device is strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested, there is no consent banner and no preference centre — there are no optional categories to switch on or off. Lexicon shows a one-time notice explaining what is stored; dismissing that notice is an acknowledgement, not consent, and it grants us no additional permission.
If we ever introduce anything that is not strictly necessary — analytics, for example — we will ask for your consent before it loads, and you will be free to refuse without losing access to the Website. You remain in control at any time through your browser: you can block or delete this Website’s storage in your browser settings. If you do, you will be signed out, and any flashcards that have not yet been synced to your account may be lost.
Everything Lexicon stores on your device, and the purpose each entry serves, is listed in full in the table below:
